Tee Off for Mental Health at The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County’s Fifth Annual Golf Outing, ‘Turn Awareness into Action’! The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County holds its fifth Annual Golf Outing, ‘Turn Awareness into Action’, on Cinco de Mayo, May 5 at Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, New Jersey to raise funds to support grant awards to nonprofit agencies responding to mental health needs in the area. Playing golf promotes mental well-being through stress reduction, physical activity, social connection, challenge, achievement and focus. The golf outing’s net proceeds will support grant awards to nonprofit agencies providing services to children, adolescents and adults with mental health needs in Bergen County. Schedule: 1. Brunch from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 2. Shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. 3. Cocktails at 4:30 p.m. and dinner. 4. Throughout the evening, a celebration, awards and a silent auction will take place. A special feature of this year’s golf outing is a putting contest and the opportunity for golfers to win cash prizes. Guests may also participate in a silent auction and a raffle to support The Community Chest’s work.
