Description:
Established in 2014, Winter4Kids has served over 19,000 kids from New Jersey, New York and beyond while also providing healthy meals at every session. In a world where many young people can feel isolated which can lead to negative choices and consequences, Winter4Kids offers a safe and welcoming environment where every child is embraced and where they can be their authentic self. Schools have reported that during their time with Winter4Kids, children’s attendance has increased along with improvements in academics; their relationships with their peers have increased; and schools believe that W4K has helped students develop good personal qualities, belief in oneself, and kids feel that they are part of a community. Our programs are changing and saving lives.
This year, we are proud to dedicate the event in memory of Carl C. Boyhan, a cherished friend and integral part of the Winter4Kids family. Carl brought joy, leadership, and compassion to everything he touched - on and off the course - and his support was instrumental in helping us grow our programs that serve thousands of youth each year.
