Description:
The Flick Family Memorial Award for First Responders Scholarship is available to Fayette County area first responders and/or their family members who are continuing their education. This outing raises funds for the award. We currently award three $500 scholarships yearly, but will be increasing that to three $1,000 awards in 2026. The award and this outing are co-sponsored by the Flick family, the South Brownsville Volunteer Fire Department, and the fire departments ladies auxiliary. This award is our way of giving back to those who so freely give of their time and effort to assist those in need.
The $110 entry fee per golfer gets you 18 holes plus cart, giveaways, a chance for team and skill prizes, drinks on the course, and a steak dinner immediately after golf. There will be an auction after the dinner.
